Christian growth is not one-shot event, but a lifestyle that is consciously and intentionally developed with full Reliance on the Holy Spirit. The Christian who seeks to grow in Christ must daily depend on the word of God and the Holy Spirit, develop a personal relationship of obedience to God’s Word, fellowship with other Believers and engage in soul winning. When we grow in Christ, our relationship with Him is strengthened, we develop hatred for sin and the Power to overcome, making us more dedicated and steadfast. To promote our growth in Christ, we must beware of complacency, pride, arrogance and the like.
